Noora Keheela Via L.M.T. #13130
Noora is a Native Oregonian, she was raised on an organic farm in the foothills of the coast range. Where living close with the rhythms of the earth was deeply instilled at an early age. This connection has been influential throughout her life. At the age of 20 she stepped more fully on her path in the Healing Arts. She moved to the Hawaiian Islands where she began her studies as a Massage Therapist. She completed her massage therapy training at The Maui School of Therapeutic Massage and received her license in Oregon in 2006. Noora completed a second Massage Therapy training in Kauai at The Pacific Center of Awareness and Bodywork in 2011 where she studied structural integration and awareness practices based on somatic psychology process work with Lee Joseph. She is currently studying Visionary Craniosacral work with Hugh Milne.
Since Noora’s initial massage training over 8 yrs. ago her life has forever been changed. A deep seeded passion was discovered and she has spent much of her time allowing this passion to grow, exploring the art, science, and the mystery of the human body, mind, and spirit. Her massage is a reflection of this passion she has been cultivating with in herself. Using intuition, compassion, and therapeutic techniques she blends the appropriate modalities to best support her clients during a session.
The following modalities are often blended into a session depending on ones needs…
- Connective Tissue Therapy (inspired by structural integration training)
- Craniosacral Therapy (inspired by Visionary Craniosacral training with Hugh Milne)
- Awareness Practices (inspired by training with Lee Joseph)
- Breath work
- Energy work (inspired by Reike training)
- Pregnancy Massage
Noora’s foundation is rooted in her compassion for others, her gentle spirit and her desire to help others bring awareness back into their body— allowing one to feel more alive, empowered and connected to them self and the world around them.
